Coming off Depo 2nd time round

With ds I came off the Depo, waited 6 months for my periods to come back before conceiving fairly quickly (once I'd figured dates out). I didn't go to my Xmas appointment, but don't really want to get pregnant before April (don't want to lose a work opportunity).

Obviously the best thing is to use other forms of contraception, but I'm intrigued to know of those who've used the Depo again, was their second time coming off it a similar story to the first time?

I have been on it twice. first time it was 18mth between it running out (ie me not getting jab in the April like I should have) and me finally getting no.

second time around the docs advised I come off. This was a year ago? I was on microgynon since but stopped that 26d ago as ttc #3

Finally getting bfp I meant.
