Which clinic for IVF treatment

Hi, we are looking to start IVF early in 2014. We have been to see a few clinics and read reviews and have narrowed down our selection to The Oxford Fertility Unit and The Harley Street Fertility Clinic.
We have been to see HSFC and first impressions were very welcoming but after reading some online reviews we are now not so sure.
The Oxford Fertility Unit has been recommended by a friend and although there are some online reviews we cannot seem to find anything recent.
We will be funding the treatment privately so want to ensure we select the best clinic.
Looking to hear from other couples who have had any experiences with these clinics, positive or negative, please share your stories.
Additionally please feel free to make any other recommendations.
Many Thanks
Mudgirl

No experience of either of these. However we conceived first time doing ICSI after 5 years of infertility at the Woking Nuffield. It had the some of best rates of success for my age group at the time.

I was 36 when doing ICSI and 37 when ds was born. However things change & I have no idea what they are like now - ds is now 5 1/2 years!

Mud we used the Oxford Fertility Unit and they were brilliant. We were NHS funded for the first go which didn't work but the funded covered the freezing of the remaining blastocysts and so we paid for our last go using these and I'm now 6 months pregnant! They're lovely people, it's a very calm place and I'd definitely recommend it
Good luck

sorry, the funding covered the freezing

Hi - we are going for IVF treatment at London Bridge Hospital but may also consider Lister Hospital for private treatment, as we are not eligible for NHS treatment. Could anyone advice me as to which consultant to see at London Bridge Hospital, please.

Has anyone had private treatment at London Bridge Hospital?

Thanks (first time, so not sure what to expect)

No experience, and am sort of place-marking.

On Saturday I'm going to my first appointment with a consultant who is affiliated with the Oxford Fertility Clinic. I think most tests etc can be done locally, but the actual procedures would happen in Oxford (which is fairly near a good friend of mine, so is a good option)

I don't qualify for NHS funding, so have opted for something close to home as it seems like it would be less stressful.
