Advice after medical miscarriage 14 weeks

Hi all,

I'm a newbie on here so huge apologies if this is on the wrong thread... Confused

I really wanted to ask some advice. On Dec 4th I lost my baby girl, she was diagnosed with Edwards Sydrome and was very poorly. The chances of her not being in pain if she was to even make it full term was slight and so we made the heartbreaking decision to have a medical miscarriage. I was 14 weeks. Sad

It has been four weeks Saturday. I bled very heavily for the first week and a half and then it seems to clear up until I had sex (sorry tmi!) where fresh blood would start again for a day and then clear again. For about 2 weeks now all has been well.

I thought everything was kinda getting back to normal and then yesterday morning I had very slight bleeding/almost like spotting. It was brown mixed with cervical mucus (oh the dignity ha!) and was very slight. I presumed it was the start of af but I didn't bleed anymore.

Woke up this morning and still nothing, I'm just wondering - does anyone have similar experiences? Is this my body just getting back to pre-pregnancy?

Thanks all xx

I had a very late miscarriage, my baby girl died inside me and they had to induce.

I would say it took a month to get back to normal, I also had mucusy discharge towards the end.

Sorry for your loss, I had a shit time of it but I was glad I didn't have to choose, you are very strong x
