Tesco pregnancy tests?

Bought one today and it was working as the line came up in the small window first then after a faint line appeared going across not downwards! could i be pregnant? it's supposed to go downwards for a positive result but it didn't mention anything about going across.

There's usually a number you can call on the leaflet and they should be able to answer you. But if in doubt take another!

I suspect the Tesco tests are somewhat poor quality. I did one a while ago, and followed the instructions to the letter but both windows remained completely blank. So I had to go out and buy another test (a different brand.I recommend you do likewise.

I'm hoping i'm not pregnant though as already have a 2yr old and 7 month old but we'd never have an abortion. If i am we'll have to manage.

hi chocolate, i had this with a sainsburys test. after calling the pharmacist he read the instructions and the line has to go downwards to be a positive. i think it was just a duff test. i stick with clear blue now.

I used a tesco test and it also didnt work.

tescos worked fine for me, infact clearblues digital and ordinary gave negatives.

im the same ive done 2 test now and both have a faint line across but im nearly 3 weeks late i hope i am thou if any one caould shed sum light be brill thanku .

they always have faint lines across, its just dye.

you have to have a downward visible line for a ++, within the timescale. an across line is a negative.
