So, I usually have a 28-32 day cycle, varies a little. Today is day 30, could be potentially 2 days late or 2 days early dependent on how many days my cycle should have been this month.

I did a internet dip strip pregnancy test today and it had the faintest positive line ever, so faint that you need to be in natural light to see it. I used second morning urine of the day and I also read the line within the time limit. It also appears to be the same colour as the control line, just much fainter if that makes sense.

I've felt sick and bloaty last few days, and a few smells have made my tummy bubble. I've also had cramps similar to those I get before AF, just no AF. It's rubbish. I plan to retest tomorrow but I'm jut curious how faint is too faint for it to be a true positive and not a chemical pregnancy?

Thanks in advance x

A line is a line. How faint it is is nothing to do with the viability of the pregnancy. Chemical pregnancies are characterised by a positive turning negative and a late 'period'.

If there is a line, there's hcg and you are pregnant.

That's what I thought. But I'm very nervous/apprehensive about it all as I miscarried in May. I've definitely got to retest tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a stronger line tomorrow.

Thanks again.
