Tesco OPKS/long lh surge

Does anyone else use these? This is my first month using them and I had an opk+ on cd 13 - pretty much same colour as control line. Same on cd14. Then on cd15 and again on cd16 had very, very dark test line, much darker than control. Today, cd17, had a definitive neg opk but on a boots one as had finished the Tesco ones.

Are they known for being a bit ambitious or have I had a massive lh surge? If Ive had a massive lh surge what does that mean?

Hi orange fizz
I had exactly the same thing earlier in the month. I was really confused. I peed on a tescos ovulation stick on the 6th and it showed a line equally as dark as the control which according to the info meant ovulating in the next 12-36hrs. But I then got the same reading for the next five sticks I peed on?! I have no idea so just Dtd over those days!!
Im now 4 days late for period but tests say negative!!! Confusing!
Xxx

ambitious = ambiguous

Reading about tesco opks online seems to suggest that they are very sensitive and quite annoying. Will probably avoid in the future!
