AF due 25th, neg test today will 2 days really make a diff? Is there still hope?

Hi on my first round if clomid, 21 day blood confirmed I ovulated, had some pain 4/5 days ago which would tie in with implantation. Just took test, neg result, do you think 2 days early it would still show a faint line if I was preg?

I think everyone is different and only time will tell.

I have tested early and had a negative test and then Af arrived, i tested the day Af was due with no real inclination that i was pregnant until i got my BFP. If i had tested earlier i may have got a faint positive but i'll never know.

I would hold off, until af is due. Good luck Smile

Thanks, I just don't want to test Xmas day and be in a foul mood if I get a neg! I know only time will tell, I was feeling really hopeful this month too, starting to cramp a bit now don't know if that's bad or good.

My AF is due on Xmas day too. My hopes are not high so I'm not even going to buy a test. How about a compromise and testing on Boxing Day? That's always a downer anyway. Grin

Haha true! Going to family and don't want to drink incase I am preg, ugh just don't think I can look at another neg test!

So what makes you not hopeful this month?

We've hardly had sex and I'm about 103! My blood tests do indicate I've got a decent number of eggs left, but it just feels very unlikely.

I was testing every day from 7dpo sometimes twice a day but I didn't get my BFP until the same day my period was due. I had even been using tests that claim they can be used up to 4 days before AF is due - they were coming back negative too. I also lost hope so couldn't actually believe it when I finally got a BFP on the AF due date.

It's not over until AF arrives!

Nope! BFN. still no AF tho, having painful
Stabbing pains around my ovary are again today so not sure what's happening. Think my ovarys still sensitive from the clomid. How about everyone else?

Another BFN this morning still no AF! Def ovulated the latest 17th dec!

Lynn that makes you potentially only 10dpo which is still quite early for a bfp. Also clomid can lengthen the LP so it may be that your AF just arrives later than when not on clomid. Good luck

Fingers crossed then....hate the waiting. I think I ovulated before then, anyway I def ovulated, preg or not at least I know the clomid worked.
