AF due today but no signs or symptoms of her or pg

Hi all, due af today but I have absolutely no cramps or anything to suggest she's on her way! Also have absolutely no symptoms at all of pg either. I'm really hoping it's not a cruel trick Hmm

I only have one test in the drawer and don't want to waste it so thinking I should wait until the weekend to use it but what do you all think?

I can hear it shouting "pee on me, pee on me!" Grin

IM 8 days late waiting on postman with my package fingers crossed. I think you should poas do it do it lol

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 11:07

Haha I am soooooo tempted to test but would be disappointed with a bfn. Do you think it's possible to be pg with no symptoms? With my dd I had extremely sore breasts before I got a bfp but I keep telling myself every pg is different Smile

When are you expecting the postie to deliver? x

Laura - I had the sore boobs before BFP with my DD (in fact, it was because of that it ended up POASing as DH said "you must be pregnant"). This time they only symptom I had before BFP was total baby brain. Had a party and forgot to cook half the food, forgot to buy paper plates, that sort of thing. Completely unlike me!

I think you should POAS. I don't think I could hold out!!

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 11:42

Thanks rachy that makes me feel more confident Grin

Same situation as you with my dd. I only did a test as my boobs were killing me and so dp commented I must be pg

He isn't aware of my af due date or anything so don't want to bore him with my "do you think I am or not?" as he'll probably reply "For god sake woman just do a bloody test and find out" Grin

It would make a fabby xmas present!

Argh duno whether to wait until the weekend! I only have one test left and don't want to waste it lol x

If you're due today it would be 99% accurate so will give you a pretty accurate result either way... That's not a wasted test! Do it :)

Feelingfatty · 19/12/2013 12:25

Poas! If you're due on today it is very accurate! Put your mind at rest!!

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 12:30

Really struggling to keep away from the drawer lol do you think I should wait until tomorrow morning? x

OP posts:
Feelingfatty · 19/12/2013 12:32

Honestly I wouldn't bother waiting no point (unless you would rather see af than bfn) it's result today would almost certainly be reliable :) good luck!!!

LumpyBumpyMum · 19/12/2013 12:33

I'd do it now! I wouldn't be able to keep away from the test!

LumpyBumpyMum · 19/12/2013 12:34

Can you tell we all want you to do it now? :)

MyCrazyLife · 19/12/2013 12:35

Same! Actually I'd have probably done it yesterday Grin

I think you want to leave it in case you see a bfn, but maybe the longer you leave it, the more you'll get your hopes up?

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 12:37

Haha love the fact you're all as excited as me Grin I'm really needing to pee but that's due to all the half cups of luke warm coffee I've been drinking (2yr dd really keeping me on my toes today!) Do you think that'll dilute it too much? x

OP posts:
MyCrazyLife · 19/12/2013 12:38

If you're due on I don't think drinking a lot matters tbh.

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 12:40

Ok you all win (not that I need much persuasion Grin just about to put madam down for a nap so will do it then. Jeez I'm nervous! x

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 13:05

Oh no! Think it's a faulty test! The control line is all blotchy and there's lines running the opposite way so not sure if there's a faint line there or not! Sad

This is worse than a negative!

OP posts:
LumpyBumpyMum · 19/12/2013 13:29

Oh no!! You need to get another! :)

MyCrazyLife · 19/12/2013 13:50

The lines always run horizontally for me (on superdrug tests). All the ones I did last month were negative though...

Feelingfatty · 19/12/2013 13:50

Oh Laura :( that sucks! Could you pop to shop when lo wakes up?? Rubbish!!

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 14:05

It totally sucks! Never had a faulty test before and it would be my last one! I won't have time to nip to the shops when she wakes as will be heading to work Sad

Don't know what to think/feel right now x

Feelingfatty · 19/12/2013 14:06

Oh must be so disappointing! Pop to garage after work and get one ready for fmu in the morning :)

Laura05 · 19/12/2013 14:19

Yeah I think the new plan is to pop into Tesco tonight after work (thank god it's 24/7) and will test with fmu tomorrow.

Fingers crossed x
