What is implantation bleeding like?

Yesterday (cd26) I had light 'bleeding', it was a very small amount and dark in colour: more like 'old' blood rather than a period. Today I've had nothing. Could this be implantation bleeding?

Could be. I had very light 'old blood' at that point.

I had a little bit of brown blood just before my period was due, just on one day.

Hi Amy, I'm also on CD26 today and had a 'light' bleed this morning, hoping it was implantation bleeding, it's stopped now. I was going to test Friday if Af hasn't arrived but now I'm not sure. Will be watching this thread with interest. When does implantation bleeding 'normally' occur?

I read it was 6-12 days after ovulation, but it can vary and look different for different people. Mines just not like a period at all. I might test tomoz and then at the weekend. I'll keep you posted :)

I had this last week. It was 24 hours of on and off brown discharge. It freaked me out because I'd already gotten my BFP a few days earlier and didn't know you could get implantation bleeding after a BFP - I thought it always came before a BFP. It came about 2 days before my period was due which was 14 dpo. It was totally different to my normal period.

I had a tiny bit of pink blood on the day my period was due, I only tested on the off chance because the bleeding had stopped by the evening and got my BFP :)

After two days very light brownish stuff, my AF started today. Looks different from normal, feel like my body is just teasing me :( it's doing odd things and getting my hopes up.
