clear blue ovulation question

I'm on CD 7 and got flashing smiley and I think I will get another tom which would then mean I would get my peak on cd 9 and 10. Are 9&10 ovulation days or will cd11 be my ovulation day?

Hi babyrose, I ovulated the day after I got the flashing smiley for the first time... I think most people would get their peak two days later though.

Hey pink and white, I think I ovulated around cd11 or 12 last month. I was thinking the same for this month it just seems early!

The day I ovulate varies a bit too. I know that in October it was cd17 but last month (when I got pregnant) it was cd13... It's annoying in a way because I felt I had to have LOADS of sex just to cover all possibilities. I found that feeling like you have to have sex puts a bit too much pressure on but it's worth it for a BFP. My doctor told me to stick to just having sex on cd 10, 12, 14 and 16 but I was far too impatient for that! I've just remembered that the same thing happened to my friend actually - the month she fell pregnant she ovulated early - she was also using clearblue opk.

Sometimes you can get quite a lot of flashing smilies before a fixed so just keep doing them and try not to worry!

I was taking b6 for a few months and decided to stop taking as it was pushing my ovulation day later and later. Now I think my body is adjusting to not being on it.

I will keep testing, I've only had it once with the clear blue with the flashing Smiley's go on for a few days.

I had it pretty much every month (bar one) had it on my last month and ran out of sticks (only had 7 to begin with as left over) and this was the month we got our bfp so I wouldn't worry to much! Just Dtd every other day as soon as you get the flashing then every day/very other for four days after fixed x

Just done a normal opk and the line is visible( but not quite positive) so I don't think ovulation is too far away! Planning on jumping dh tom again and the whole w/end hopefully that should be plenty!!

This is our 14 month TTC and it feels like forever!

We were trying 13 months before we got our bfp if that makes you feel any better?? Is this your first or second?? Have you had any tests yet? Hang in there it will happen! My only advice is to Dtd as many times as you can! Sounds obvious but the month we got our bfp we Dtd nearly everyday over fertile period!

Yes it does thanks, it took 8 months with D's he is now 3. Is this your first or 2nd? Not been to doctors yet but if it doesn't happen soon then I think its time to look into getting tests.

I'm really going to try DTD everyday over my fertile time its the only thing we haven't done yet and I have a good feeling about it!

My second. Weirdly dd only took us two cycles! To be honest last month was the only month we did it everyday and one we got bfp. I had gone for tests last month weirdly, both 21 day bloods and a smear. Both came back clear and few days later my bfp! Dh was booked in for sperm tests the Thursday after we found out on the Monday! Strange. Hopefully it happens this month for you if not I'd go in for tests as I think the not thinking about ttc last month and thinking about the tests actually helped!!

I really hope so, trying to just chill and take things in a relaxed way. Isn't it funny that you went to see about tests and then finding out a few days later!

Hi babyrose, I had four days of flashing smileys (starting cd12) thought I'd missed ov as I started testing a couple days late. On day five (cd16) I got solid smiley, with ov symptoms. I'm only 5dpo now so don't know if we were successful.

Thanks, got another flashing smiley this morning and never got a chance DTD as Ds was sick last nite both dh and I were tired. Hopefully will get a fixed tom all weekend.

Thanks boosk I started testing early this month as I knew my cycle was changing with stopping the b6.

I think my body is trying to gear up for ovulation but its not happening! Only had a few spots of ewcm which I normally have a fair amount at this time. I've had a migraine the last few days and a bit tired but nothing else I can think of that would delay it.

That's rubbish baby rose :( although you seem very in-tune with your body which is good (in rubbish!!) so fingers crossed you'll ov soon! And thanks for luck!!

You still might have your happy ending this month I remember a lady had a similar thing a few months ago and she got her bfp at the end of a very long cycle! (Bmmum) so alls not gone yet!!!

I hope your right, It would be nice to see those two lines again done another opk and it was negative, last month I got a positive on.cc 10 which would be tomorrow

No not yet but if it doesn't happen soon then I think we will. I got another flashing this morning really thought I would have got a fixed today not sure what's going on and I'm almost out of clear blue sticks!

I went in last month to doctors they were lovely did 21 day bloods and smear and offered to check dh sperm but then weirdly got our bfp. I only ask as nurse said better to do it ASAP as such a long wait to be referred if they find a problem! I ran out of sticks last month so just Dtd as much as possible after I ran out and still got bfp so don't worry!!
