AF due today, 6 + hpt........

My period is due today, took 2 hpt yesterday with faint positive and 4 this morning lol all positive.
Period pains are getting stronger, Xmas doo tonight what to do?
I have had 4 previous miscarriages and an ectopic currently awaiting an investigative appointment, confused!

lj123 - today you are pregnant - that is all you can go with! I will say congratulations on your pregnancy, and hope that it ends with a babe in arms for you.

Having been through 12 miscarriages myself, I can empathise on your dilemma of what to do. It is tough to know how to respond to that positive pregnancy test. My advice is take one day at a time, and you know you are pregnant today, so the Christmas do tonight is a time when maybe you treat yourself as pregnant, but go and have some fun! Since you are just due AF today, the pains could be uterus stretching pains, so perhaps go a little easy on any dancing at the do tonight.

Obviously if you don't want to go to the do, then stay at home and try to distract yourself with Christmas card writing or some such fun.

Willitbe, thank you, I did go to my work doo, I had a drink with my meal and didn't do much else.
Took another Early test this morning and still positive, on and off cramping.
