A bfn for me again this morning at 11dpo.......I really should learn to wait and see if af arrives and just test if its late!!!!

I haven't dared buy any tests yet Spinning, as I'm so impatient usually I don't think I can be trusted with them. Hope that bfn turns into a bfp for you.

Boosk....I bought a load of cheap tests strips from Amazon, if I was using shop bought ones that are really pricey I wouldn't be testing daily!! Haha who am I kidding

I hadn't heard of ic tests until reading about them on here, so it'll be shop bought for me and a digi for the gift wrapped one. Thinking I might have a sneaky poas on Christmas Eve though.

Larahv It's the Veno's for Chesty Coughs I took. Says Expectorant on the front too.

HollyBen I did go to the Drs. And it was unenlightening. That's the calmest way I can put it. Basically..

Went. PIAP (Peed In A Pot). Dripped on little plate-like Pg test. Inconclusive. He did 1. Looked confused. Faint positive line then did appear after about 10mins. Decided to do another, strong line came up, then faded to pale. Doctor scratched head.

Decided on Blood Test and sending remainder of pee to labs. Blood bottled. Pee packaged. Confused & Worried SMF.

There are a couple of scenarios here. Not producing enough HCG yet (@21dpo?) /Chemical Pg / random hormone Vs test issue

So. I have to drop a FMU pot into the Drs this morning for testing-while-I-wait and will have the other pot/blood results back tomorrow.

Dr said 'A line is a line' but he wasn't prepared to absolutely confirm pg with such bizarre results. I don't blame him. However this is a horrid limbo to be in. If it is a weird chemical pg I wish it would just be over. Desperate for a cigarette and a large vodka martini.

Boosk - there are quite a few lunatics ladies poas on christmas day. Me being one of them! However is no af by the eve of xmas eve then i'll probably poas then too - as she is always on time... It is too exciting!

SMF - sorry the doctors wasn't more helpful, but also glad they didn't wave you out the door or say you weren't pregnant. Fx for you that the blood tests and tomorrow fmu shows up something more helpful.

I am cd21 and about 7dpo i think. Not a symptom in sight, but to be honest the last year i've had pretty much every symptom and no symptoms and nothing has given me a bfp so i'm learning (slowly) not to even look now!

Spinning...sorry about the bfn...hope it comes this week and your just testing early

SMF - how frustrating at the doctors at least the results will come back reasonably quickly. Will keep everything crossed for you.

Part of me wants to wait and test Christmas Day if the witch I hasn't turned up. On the other hand, if it's a bfn that's totally going to take the shine off the day. So I think I will test Thursday this week and then Monday possibly

Kallani - i know what you mean about putting a downer on things however - the idea of actually getting a bfp far outweighs for me the worry of it being neg. AND the up side is i can down that xmas champers without a care in the world if it's not a bfp! Probably the only day in the whole year where i'll be fully distracted not to worry!

Morning girls! Ive been keeping off mn for abit because it stops me counting down the days so much for poas! Lol buuut ive been getting really weird stabbing sharp pains thats coming diagnolally left of my belly button sort of inbetwwen my belly and ovaries. I have no idea what it is, never had it before so im praying its a symptom!!

Feeling very festive today....the horrendous af has stopped drowning me and appears to be making an exit!!! which means friday night is festivefridayshagfest with DH as planned yay!!!!! :)

Hello ladies!! Glad I am not the only one thinking about POAS on Christmas morning although I think DP would be revolted if I wrapped my pee stick up for him!! AF due Weds or Fri I think but temps were all over the place this month so not totally sure when I ov'd. Going to try and wait to POAS till Saturday when I will have finished work and will be all relaxed. Might crack before then though. I feel like if I get a BFN or AF arrives it isn't so bad cos at least I can crack open the festive drinks!! Good luck everyone!!!

I'm good thanks - in the midst of the damn 2ww wait but ok. Will test xmas eve if no show from the witch. I am due af xmas day, but i know the suspense will be killing me by then, and that way i can just wake up and have a wonderful time with ds who is almost 3 and will be his first xmas of knowing more what is going on, rather tahn be on knicker watch! Plus it means I can have bucks fizz for breakfast!
