Hey everyone I haven't been about a while, felt I needed a break from all thing conception related!!! Last night I got my bfp not sure whether to believe it. Got it at 3am on a 50p freedom cheapie terrified of confirming in case the cheapie is rubbish and gave me a false result. Just now excited and happy and want to live in the belief I am, to all those with bfps that I missed congrats!!! To all those waiting, fingers crossed and for all those on jan bus it won't be long I'm sure x

I think i'm back in the running, convinced i wasn't ovulating, but bought a CBFM and on saturday (CD23) got a peak then a positive on a cheapie ov test, so hopped under the sheets to take full advantage! Fingers crossed!
Today and yesterday I feel incredibly dizzy, every time i stand up I think i'm going to fall down! Is this usual after ovulating? I'm not convinced I have till now (cycle 6).
Anyway crossing everything for a BFP before (unlikely) or after Christmas!

Yay! Mumtoacub - fantastic news...i'm sure your cheapy is ok - i'd confirm on something else though to make you feel better - i'm really confident that you pay money for a name/brand fancy diggie element but really they are all pretty much the same. But as they say a line is a line!!!

Well poas again today and got a bfn. I am on cd35 of a normally 28-30 day cycle. It was a bfn yesterday too. What could be going on? They are tesco tests because I wanted to spend the big bucks on the digi which would be the pee soaked present. So now I'm wondering is it because they are tesco that it's not showing. I used fmu too this morning so I thought it would be accurate. Any advise ladies before I go mad worrying!

Just thought I'd update before I brave the winds and go for a walk with DS and puppy.

Went to the Drs again this morning clutching my FMU. Duly dripped onto test. 5 mins later, line. Slightly stronger than last nights efforts and came up faster. Still fairly faint but Doc seemed happier with this test but we are reserving judgement until bloods return tomo sometime.

He called last night to say that the 2nd test he had done (clear then fading to faint line)had come up stronger and very obvious after about 40mins. God knows what all this is about.

Anyway, we'll wait and have a butchers at the bloods. Hopefully tomo but maybe on Thurs morning. Seems a long time to wait but encouraged by Dr saying this morning that'd he'd consider this mornings' line 'Pregnant' ..

Witch - I don't get a BFP until about 4 days after AF was due in my last pregnancy.

As for me Im now on cd19 of a usually 28 day cycle. Didnt get a smiley on my opks but think I had some ovulation pain on Friday although I am overanalysing every twinge This has happened before (have just recently learnt I shouldnt be using fmu) and got a bfp so not overly bothered by this.

My dtdathon finished last night after managing every night from cd9 (dh looks exhausted poor soul haha). So now Im counting down to POAS which I will begin on Sun cd24 and 9 days after I think I ovulated. Have a 30 pack of Internet cheapies so will not feel guilty about this addiction. Just hoping by Christmas Day I get an early BFP (AF not actually due until the Fri).

Hi all, AF the bitch has paid a visit to ruin my Christmas bfp!!! :( earlier than usual as well on cd25 (usual 27-32). Disappointed, but then this was only the first proper month ttc as last month was hit and miss and not otginannly planned to be ttc.
Anyway mulled wine and champers it is ..plus spoonfuls of Venos :)

I've just worked out that when I got my bfp before I was probably 13dpo!!! I had thought I was 10 days from my app but I wasn't using opks then so really had no idea!! I'm only 11 dpo now so maybe I am too early! Hmmm or am I just clutching at straws?!!!

I'm not 100% when I ovulated. I got a sharp pain in my right side on Dec 7th so I'm taking that as ovulation, making me 10 days dpo x
