Kalliani - if you are due sat you did test pretty early! i think a frer or superdrug are sensitive - maybe for wednesday/thursday?

Kaliani, frer are good, they'll say on the packet how soon you can test! I'm due fri/sat and got a bfn this morning!! I'll be poas again in the morning!! Good luck to you

Smf... It was you with the venos wasnt it?! Which one was it u used? Sainsburys only had a honey and lemon one that didn't look like it had anything other than that and sugar in it. I was loitering in the medicine aisle reading the bottles of various cough medicines! Lol!

Spinning how can you test everyday?! I am impressed. I am determined that I will not poas until the day after af is due. Which will be Christmas Eve!! I feel like time is actually slowing down. I'm on cycle two and the wait is definitely harder this month. So much for 'let's be casual about it and see how it goes...' I can't imagine how those of you who are much further down the line get through these 2ww's, they are horrible!!

frer is first response early result pregnancy test.. I'm still getting the gang of these abbreviations myself

Sorry Kaliani (oops!) Never trust a POAS addict, we are likely to lead you astray. FRER are the First Response tests. They are supposed to be very sensitive. I think they pick it up from 4 days pre AF but less accurate the earlier you test. Basically everyone is different and produces the hcg hormone at different rates.

I do genuinely feel nervous about chemical pg's though as I know you can get an early bfp and then af can come. I have no reason to believe why this should happen to me as this is the first time we are TTC. I think maybe I've just spent far far too much time lurking on these forums....!!!

I'd also rather have a really clear bfp than have to guess. I be got the sort of dh who wouldn't believe it unless it was very very clear!

It's just dawned on me that BFP is actually due on 26th, was thinking of dates instead of number of days!!

I'm planning on just drinking mainly juice. Will make sure I "top up" my own drink, just incase! So OH is away now, ovulation tests were positive yesterday so DTD last night. Now it's fingers crossed time!

Hey hey!! I've been searching for you ladies everywhere!! Please say I can join in?

I am not technically due to see AF until Christmas Eve, but my cycle is still attempting to sort itself after 15 years on the pill, so who knows what to expect. This is my third month off it. I will be 12dpo on Fri, and it's my work christmas party on Fri 20th so I want to check just incase I need to lay off the gin!
