Christmas Cheer and all things dear, wishing for a bfp by the end of the year! December Bus is en route for a successful run of BFPS!

Piac this morning due to impatience lol obviously bfn but af not due til Friday/Saturday so shall try and hold off til at least Wednesday though. 2ww drags so badly.

Argh I hate waiting !!! I don't think I will have been successful this month, don't feel different at all other than having awful thrush :( dh has taken a tablet now so will have a break til after AF now unless it clears up quicker :s

Thanks for the info sazzle! Hope that your DH has good sperm results! When do you find out?? Well my DH will just have to get on with that test in the new year! He said he would so we will see then!

I think M33R is just taking a bit of a break from mumsnet! Hoping she pops back on with a bfp soon though!!! Or even just to say hello! Miss her fun and loveliness!

Well I'm feeling happy today despite my insane af that is attempting to drown me! But I have distracted myself by making NYE plans and also plans for this wkend including lots of festive drinks.....well sure if I'm not preggers then I best make the most of it ;) ;)

My AF is due tomorrow and I have had period cramps this morning but I will POAS anyway because I just can't help myself.

Sazzle, I agree, I had never heard of a chemical until I was on these boards and its scary how many women have to suffer it, very sad

Kitty, it's hard to stay positive all the time but I'm thinking a bfp is fab news at any time and if its not our month then we'll board the January bus and cheer each other on while we wait for our time to come!

Can't wait for this week to be over and if AF arrives I'm hitting the mulled wine and champers :)

Mama - got the results within a week - all ok, just came back as normal. So it definitely means you know there is nothing major going on and it is perhaps just a matter of time. You are like me - we have on child already so know it is possible, just taking longer this time! Still if we still manage to conceive within the year we are well within normal statistics!

Boosk - think a box, give wrap AND a ribbon to go all out!

Kitty i have days like that where i feel so low and sad about it all and glare at all the happy pregnant people out there and then feel bad for doing so. Then i have other days where i just forget all about days, numbers, charts, this and that and almost don't care. this will be far the easiest month not to be pregnant because at least there is xmas and nye to distract and have a damn good drink!

All this talk of pee soak sticks for Christmas presents has really made me giggle!!
I currently at 7-9dpo... Feeling strangely calm. Back in England for a few days (I live in Amsterdam) so stocked up on cb OPKs and conception vits... Haven't yet found somewhere nearby to get it all from. So it'll be Sod's law that I won't need the OPKs (crosses fingers and sends a little prayer!).

How did you get on at the docs SMF?
kmini when I used opks prior to conceiving my dd I never had a positive. Realised thanks to mm that I shouldn't have used FMU. Thought I'd give them a go to try and understand what is going on post mc. Had a faint line this morning and darker just now. So pleased as I thought we had missed the boat due to nights out and work stuff last week. Early night for us I think

Massive congrats to those with bfps!

Fully enmeshed in the 2ww now. Never had this with my daughter as didn't find out till I was 9wks with her!

Feeling very strange. Getting up in the night to pee, where normally I sleep straight through. Feeling a bit sweaty and hot all the time, and have a strange 'heavy' feeling right down low in my tummy. Also seem to be very 'moist' lately with sort of creamy cm. Also had awful heartburn on and off. I dunno if I'm frantically symptom spotting as I so desperately want to give DH a pee soaked stick on Christmas morning (only thing that could top the big sparkly ring he gave me 2 years ago!). What do we think ladies? The witch (or bfp!) is due Saturday!

Hi Kaliani, sounds positive - but this ttc malarky is tricky business!
If BFP is due Sat, when will you test? Will you be good and patient and wait til Sat, or else be a poas addict like some of us ladies (me included)?? and test early

I have a tesco test upstairs-don't give me ideas lol. I will never be able to keep it quiet till Christmas Day if I test now!

I've just made it worse - I googled early pregnancy signs. Had no idea that constipation and wind could be signs too! Food tastes different but I'm putting that down to stopping smoking.

I also don't feel as if I'm due on. Normally the week before I am a raging bitch from the inner circles of hell. I feel calm and like af is weeks away.

I want to go and do that test now!

I tested, it was negative. Will buy some more and do them later in the week. Which is best for early testing?
