Is temping 100% reliable ?

First month temping and just wondering if temping is 100% reliable.
Everything seems all good so far but just wondering.

Nothing is ever 100%!

But yes, done properly, charting you temperature is very reliable.

Wasn't for me. Had a temp spike at CD12 but don't think I ovulated til CD22 based on ewcm, OPKs and then my BFP.

No it is not 100% reliable and can be problematic particularly if the menstrual cycle is irregular in nature.

Another problem with charting is that there can actually be a temp rise in the second half of the cycle when an egg has not been shed so again charting is not infallible. Many gynaes also do not take much notice of such charts primarily because they can be so unreliable.

If you want to continue charting do so but bear in mind the potential problems of same.
