OPKs getting darker?

Do any of your ladies OPKs get darker each day closer to ovulation? I have only started to do them this month (ttc baby number 4) but the last two days the lines have been slightly darker but still not as dark as the test line. Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

Yup! They get steadily darker until the surge when the test line matches the control line (I don't think this happens for everyone though). I have quite a short surge so I tend to test twice a day with internet cheapies around this time to make sure I don't miss it. I would consider yourself in your fertile window and get DTD as you need some sperm loitering around waiting for when the egg gets released

Yes this happened to me last month but I didn't see the peak! So get swi asap!!! This is my first proper cycle so ive started opking today as I dont know when it could happen
