What do you class as first day of AF? (tmi alert)

What do you class as spotting and the first day of AF? Yesterday AF started, but it was very watery and pink. Today it's normal, with blood (sorry about tmi). Would you class today as cd 1 or yesterday?

today. it's the first day of full flow (that is normal for you)

Today. I get spotting for a few days beforehand but I don't count it until it's proper blood.

Thank you. I know it sounds odd but I'm really happy you've said today because that means I've returned to 28 day cycles after coming off depo. Previous months have been very short cycles so now we can properly start ttc!
