Can you 'feel' your about-to-ovulate ovary??

DC#2 is 9m old and I've just dropped his night feed (hurrah!) so he's regularly going 10-12hrs overnight without a feed.

Prior to this I was getting some signs of returning fertility/a cycle but only spotting rather than a proper period.

I'm now around day 10 of my 'cycle' (based on day 1 being the most recent day of spotting) and for the last day or two I've been feeling a pressure where my left ovary (presumably) is. Not painful, but like the feeling when you put your tongue into your cheek and push it out a bit (if that makes any sense).

I'm assuming that this is my ovary getting ready to ovulate for potentially the first time in a long while.

Does anyone else get this? Can you feel an ovary about to ovulate? It's not Mittelschmerz (the pain of ovulation itself): I know what that feels like (and it doesn't last a few days).
