Starting IVF in January or February? Thought I'd set up a new convo just for us!

Ok, so I start my IVf at Bourn hall after Christmas. So anxious, but can't wait to get the extra 50% chance of finally being able to have a baby after 5 long years of trying. Been diagnosed as unexplained infertility. Treatment starts at 19th Jan.

We have our appointment for referral at the end of January, so hopefully we won't be too long after that. How long did you have to wait following your referral to begin treatment at Bourn Hall? I think that is the place we're going to choose. Good luck Smile

We got referred beginning of Dec, we had to go to a seminar and then a week later to see a consultant, you can start your treatment ASAP after that, if you have already done all the tests from the hospital and GP. We decided to wait until after Christmas as we are on holiday and I didn't fancy having my injections on holiday. You start treatment day 2 or day 21 of you cycle. But mine is day 19, as I only have a 26 day cycle. So far Bourn has been brilliant, very welcoming and the doctors not only want your treatment to go well, but your journey through IVF too. It seems really reassuring.
