Am waiting for Af to show and think im about 4 days late but I have got tonsillitis and after googling (Confused I know I know) I'm wondering if being ill is delaying Af?
Does anyone know?

Not on any medication, stressed or taken ab's if that makes any difference!
Thanks.

I think being ill generally can delay it - certainly has with me in the past.

When I had glandular fever I didn't have a period for 5 months!
But with tonsilitis I never had a problem.
Are you sure it is just tonsilitis and should you not be on antibiotics?

I'm pretty sure it's just tonsillitis and I think it's viral so not taking ab's.
It only started the day Af was due so I can't see that it would have affected ov so would it still affect Af?! Or are the two totally separate?

In that case I would have thought it would not affect AF at all!

Can possibly delay ovulation, but I doubt it would delay AF.

Last cycle I had the vomiting bug after ovulation but before AF, and AF still arrived on time.

Well it might be a coincidence but the tonsillitis is on its way out and Af has shown up Angry
