Faint bfp and late bleeding?

Hi guys, looking for advice and poss reassurance and maybe just sorting my thoughts! (Bit long sorry!)

Ttc. DS is almost 3 and was IVF baby following years of ttc and various treatment. Had to have immune suppressing drugs to conceive.

This month tried for first time taking daily 75mg aspirin. (As per my protocol when doing ivf) thought if worth a go!

Regular cycles of 26-29 days. Never been over 30.

So this month tested on day 28 as no AF. Negative. A day later dreamed a faint line was there and dragged it out to look again and it was. Retested and same very faint line on day 30. Still unsure so tested again two days later. Again very faint line.

Started bleeding this morning but only noticeable after bm (sorry if tmi here!) and pink. Then very slight brown discharge this eve.

Had other symptoms during the week such as sore boobs and very frequent weeing; hungrier than normal, cramps etc - similar to last pregnancy.

Don't want to do another test as terrified of bfn result so staying in 'kidding self' land!! (Together with hubby!)

Could bleeding be anything other than late AF? In 20 years I've never been a week late! (Am 41 - could be an age thing??)

Any thoughts gratefully received!

yes, a bit of light spotting is not a problem, it could be implantation bleed - have you been having little cramps?

of course it is very worrying for you, every little sign will freak you out, but it ain't over till it's over so fingers crossed for you!

I suggest you POAS again on Monday morning, (first pee is more concentrated of hCG so result line will be stronger).

good luck!

Update - now bleeding more like AF so assume that's it for this month.

Bodes well for next month though as I'm certain something occurred so will continue with the aspirin and hope that taking it longer term works.

Thanks both for taking the time to reply. All the best. Xx
