Two week wait and I feel like I'm going mad!

Hi all, this is my first post. Finding reading your posts really comforting. Have been trying for our first for two months and this is the hardest thing I've ever done. The lack of control and especially the wait until I can test is driving me nuts :) Would love to hear how you cope with it!

I'm in the same place - second 2ww and it's killing me. Who knew time could pass so slowly?! I'm ov+4 so wait wait wait for ages yet : ( I also think my LP is going to be too short for implantation this month; I ovulated late.
So - no advice on how to deal with it at all really : ( I think I need a time machine!

So good to know there are others in the same position. I'm ov+7 and have in yesterday and did a pregnancy test. Of course it was negative, I knew it would be too early even if was pg! What a loony! I'm worried too about my luteal phase. My periods last 10 days which makes my lp only 11 days which is a bit shorter than I think is optimum. How long have you been trying?

Hi girls, I thought I would join you in your 2ww. I am sending myself loopy by symptom spotting like crazy and taking pregnancy tests! This is only my first week of trying so am thinking next month I'm going to be even worse!!

I know me too! I've been really tired this week and getting cramping. Hoping its a sign of pregnancy but more than likely symptoms of my oncoming period. I just wish I could know if me or my partner have any fertility issues, then at least we'd know what situation were in.

Kels - this is my second month TTC. I think last month was worse because I really thought "course! We'll easily get pregnant!" But then I had a reality check. Still, this month is dragging! My LP is only going to be about 10 days this month, so not expecting anything this month. But of course I'm still thinking about every tweak and twinge ; )

In exactly the boat mssleepyhead. It's horrendous waiting isn't it. Keep trying to convince myself AF isn't on her way when I have all the signs that she is... Oh well if she does I'll be pouring myself a big glass of wine to commiserate

Im in EXACTLY the same boat and have been P'ing OAS every other day this week with excitement...I cant concentrate on anything else either :( its so difficult! Good luck to everyone! xxx

Well my AF has decided to stick her oar in and has appeared 4!!! days early!! At first I got all excited and thought it could be implantation bleeding but nope, it's definitely AF! It's so annoying I am never early! Agh well time to focus on next month (after that big glass of wine!). BTW how do you guys know how long your luteal phase is? x

I'm calculating my LP by looking t when I oved (I know the day from my temperature) and working out when AF is due (roughly). And it doesn't look good!

Sorry to hear that Ram19. Definitely enjoy that wine I think the LP should be 10-14 days to allow time for implantation. Mine is at 9/10, so that's my main worry, as AF likes to hang around for ages with me! I read the book What to expect before you're expecting, really recommend that for understanding your cycle. X

Hi, I'm currently in 2ww number five. Not sure how many dpo because I don't chart but I ovulated last week some time, judging by ewcm.

I'm about to get into the rubbish part of the TWW - implantation week. Tomorrow is OV+6 so I can finally start proper symptom spotting! Cue much boob prodding, belly rubbing and self-induced queasiness ; ) good luck if you're in the same place as me!

I did my second far too early pregnancy test today. Negative... So I ate some chocolate to commiserate! AF is due Thursday, pretty sure I'll be seeing her. To make it worse hubby has just been put on steroids for an illness. They may reduce his sperm count. Feeling blue... X

I'm really sorry to hear that kels. You know, it only takes 1 though! So doesn't mean the end! I did a test today too, waaaaaay to early but I was interested in what's going on as I've had some pains and bloating today. Negative. Obv. AF due in the next few days, so we'll see... I love POAS so hopefully I'll get another couple of goes in before she arrives!
