Your experiences of EWCM and ovulation please.

I am on CD 8 and have just started producing EWCM. I am not using opks this month. Last month I had a static smiley on cd14, I believe I ovulated on cd15 as my LP seems to be 12 days now and I got my period on cd26.

Last month I started getting EWCM on cd10 and this lasted for four days, the last day being ovulation. As I said this month it's started on cd 8!

Is EWCM a good marker for fertility or is it a bit of a red herring do you think?

From what I've worked out only recently is that I get ewcm for 5 days. So I know if it starts on cd 7 then I think I may have ovulated on cd11.

Ew is supposed to help but it's certainly not helping me!

That's what I seem to have gathered too. Mine lasts for around 4 days then I get a dry day after ovulation. It just seems too early for me to ovulate on cd 11/12.

Do you normally ovulate later? Maybe just a little different this month for some reason.

To be honest I don't really have a 'regular' anything yet as I was breast feeding my son so had late ovulation and a short LP then I stopped bfing and I now have a 12 day LP and have ovulated at different times. This month seemingly lining up to be the earliest.
