CB ovulation smiley face?

Hi ladies, I know this question has probably been asked 100times so sorry for that!!

Anyway I'm CD 10 and first proper time using ov tests. Bought the cb smiley face ones today and pee'd on one and got a smiley face!!

Does this mean I'll ov today or in next few days? I'm worried cause last dtd was Monday....we can dtd tonight but would have done it last night as well if I'd realised! I did do an ic ov test yesterday which had a faint line but today it was much darker.

Any thoughts from ov stick addicts?

It depends. I think the release of the egg is different for different people. You should dtd tonight and tomorrow night if possible. The smiley face is the LH surge to say that ovulation is imminent. Monday's sperm can still be alive inside you also, so don't worry too much.

I've told dp we need to dtd as much as possible for the next few days

You usually ovulate within 12-48 hours after the smiley. It's best to dtd on the days before ovulation, so dtd the day of the smiley would be great timing.

Thanks Blamber....tbh I thought I ov'd later than this so if I don't get a bfp this month I shall be ready with the opk earlier next cycle and make sure we dtd earlier!
