AF on her evil way, feeling pathetic

Month 4 of TTC #1. I was feeling SO hopeful this month. AF due this Friday. Had some v dark brown spotting on Monday, convinced myself implantation bleeding as never have spotting.

Now started with familiar cramps and seems AF is on her waySad. I really thought this would be our month. I'm feeling v sad and trying to muffle my feelings with dark chocolate digestives.

Suppose at least I can get merry drunk at Christmas but it's little consolation reallySad.

Don't despair yet though, I felt like my period was coming both times I ended up pregnant. In fact period cramps came and went the whole way through my first pregnancy.

Oh Feckin I feel your pain I'm in 2ww. 7 months ttc #1. I had a mmc at 10 weeks in September and I'm quickly losing it!!

You're not out til the witch arrive...! I'm hopeful for this month, tis all we can be!!!!

Thank you all for your messages of hope, made me sob just a little. All alone here, DH away and no one knows we are TTC.

Lucky, I really, really hope it's your month. I'm only on month 4 and know how desperate I am for that BFP, everything crossed for you.

I'm clinging to the fact that my cycle is bang on 28 days every month and AF arrives practically to the hour. Cramping this noticeable 2 days before I'm due is unusual.

I feel your pain feckin. I'm due today and have been spotting and cramping since Monday. So disappointed this month! Have been trying since July so December will make it cycle 6..Sad

Feel your pain too. Hugs from this side. AF due sat and have just got those cramps. Been trying since June. It's hard. Hope your DH back soon and think of those drinks you can have over Crimbo x

Can I join? My AF arrived on Monday, been trying since May with an early mc in Sept. I was really upset this month, it seems to have hit me harder than other months.

Can I join too? 6 months ttc number 1. Day 2 of the dreaded AF. I felt utterly horrible in the week leading up to AF, but actually feel better now that I know.
I stupidly set a target of getting pregnant by Christmas an d had this sad fantasy in my head of telling my mum on Christmas Day. Not going to happen now!
But onto the next month. Need to keep positive. I have thoroughly enjoyed a large coffee today and a nice Rioja last night.
My husband is amazing but lacks the desire I have to overanalyse all of this. He is however very good at providing cuddles on the couch when I am feeling blue!
Thinking of you all. We will get there!

Can I join too please? AF arrived yesterday we've been trying since July too, this is cycle 5 for me though as I have longer cycles. It's horrible when you really think its going to happen every month. DS took 3 months TC so feeling down that this time round it's taking even longer. But trying to think positive that at least I can have a drink over the Xmas period. Hope everyone else will start to feel positive too Smile it will happen for everyone soon!

Well I have no idea what is going onHmm. So AF came 2 days early for the first time ever and lasted just 2 days, again unheard of as usually 4 days. Pretty heavy (sorry if tmi!). So game over. But now, 2 days later I have a tiny bit of cramping and little bit of v dark brown discharge? So weird as 28 day cycle is regular as clockwork, was 26 this month. I never get spotting between periods either. I have now convinced myself I'm starting an early menopause, arggggh.

To all others on this thread who were hanging out for a BFP, any good news?

Same boat as you. Spotting started Monday (still here), not due until tomorrow, but feeling like AF is on her way. :/

I am having the same issue FeckinNC. I am usually 24 day cycle and this time it didn't start until day 31 and has only been very light streaking and now the dark brown discharge for a couple of days. This is most unusual as I always have 5 clear days of similar red and quite heavy. My breasts have been unbearably sore which is also unusual. And I am feeling a very bizarre pain /cramp. I have done two tests both BFNs. I too have now convinced myself there is some kind of problem - none of this is normal at all. Either that or our bodies playing downright nasty tricks on us, chicks! Hang in there all. x
