Hi guys

I was wondering if you could help me? This is my first month using FF for temping. The cross hairs have come up on the graph and shown this as my ovulation day. However we didn't DTD that day (sorry for tmi) but we did dtd the day before and after. Are we still in with a chance in the 2ww or have we missed the boat this month?

Thanks for all your gelp

The day before counts. You are definitely in with a chance. You're more likely to conceive a girl as female sperm survives for longer inside you. Good luck.

Yes, if you DTD the day before or after you ovulate, that should be close enough for peak fertility.

In fact, a man's sperm can live for up to 7 days in the woman's body, and the woman's egg can live for up to a day after it's released. So with luck you should have quite a bit of slack in the timing.

The NHS webpage on conception has more information.

Yes, the day before is the ideal day. The day of and day after ovulation are probably too late.
