Hi I was on depo for 5 years it ran out in July so its only been 4 months for me and I've had no af at all. I read about agnus castus on a forum and looked it up and read alot about it its a herbal thing thats supposed to regulate irregular cycles or bring on cycles, I've been taking it for two weeks nothing yet but I've read good things about it. I'm hoping it does something for me don't know if that's any help to you but good luck anyway hopefully it wont be much longer.

Yeah I've been looking at them too. Just wernt sure weather to start them or give it another month just hoping to get regular soon hope they work for you.

I guess I thought whats the worst that could happen. I did stupidly think things would just go back to normal after a month or so.

I was on depo for 5 years, when I came off took approx 6 months to have natural af- I did fall pregnant after 3 months but sadly mc. Fell pregnant again 3 months later and my ds is now 3 Grin. Good luck!

I still hadn't ovulated 22 months after coming off depo. Tried angus castus, tried provera to try and kick start things, nothing worked until I was prescribed clomid. Didn't ovulate the first 2 months, did ov the third and got a BFP on the 4th. This was with my second child too. I think depo is a bloody awful drug!

I was supposed to have my last depo in mid August but didn't, went on pill for three weeks and it didn't agree with me, I decided to come off it and are now going to ttc this month. My first AF was in October and my cycles have been really short (14-21 days). I've bought some vitamin b6 which seems to be lengthening this cycle, I'm currently on cd 21 with no sign of AF.

I was on the depo for about 8 years and took about 18 months after coming off it to get periods back. I took angus castes & dong quai to help regulate & had a series of Accupuncture sessions to restart my periods. Luckily no issues with fertility - 2 beautiful dcs now.

Thanks for all your replies does anyone know how long you have to be ttc for before doctor will prescribe clomid. I have had northesterone and it have me a withdrawl bleed but nothing since. X

I'm not sure, it prob depends on your NHS trust? I pushed and pushed (nicely and politely, obv) and got referred, and then the consultant prescribed me clomid at the first appt. I don't think GPs can prescribe it. I got referred a few months before my actual appt, so I'd prob been TTC for apprx 18-19 months?
