Extremely sore breasts after Ovulation?

As Ovulation approached this month I got the usual swelling and mild tenderness in my breasts, on the day of Ovulation they felt like they were huge and were a pinch more tender. I am now 2DPO and yesterday, the day after O I noticed that they were extremely sore (something I have not felt in weeks - had this after coming off the pill) to the point that when I took off my bra it felt like I was taking them off instead. Today @ 2DPO they are getting even more swollen and hurt like hell at the sides.
This month Ovulation was quite hard (felt like I was kicked in the abdomen for hours) and the first time since coming off the pill back in September and I am wondering if its maybe related?

I have found my boobs are really sore basically from the second I ovulate till AF arrives. You know my back story - very much the same as you!

I've also had horrific spots this month too. Counted 20 on my face . Hope it all settles soon.

Hey! Nice to see you again! I am doing great, now that I finally managed to Ovulate on my own. Doctor was pushing for me needing help big time. Have an appointment booked for the Fertility Clinic on the 7th of January in case things do not go well still, but I have hope again that things will go as planned on their own now. :)
I've got lots of spots as well this cycle!
