Need some advice before I lose the plot completely!

Earlier this month 11th-12th dec I experienced some light spotting mixed with sort of clear mucus (sorry tmi)! On Saturday evening I then had the lightest drop of blood on tissue when I wiped, my period was due yesterday and I've tested negative. Is there any possibility I might still be pregnant and if sat was implantation bleed that it might just be too early to tell? Anything I've read online says I should get a bfp after missed period but then others say 4 days after implantation (if that's what it was) is too early? My partner and I haven't been trying long and already the "am I?am I not?" Thing is becoming all consuming. Feel like I'm going dolally! Any advice greatly appreciated...

Hi, I don't really have an answer for you as I'm fairly new to this whole thing as well and still learning. Do you know when you ovulated? If you don't get your period in a few days then I would test again.

I think (and it's only guesswork) I ovulated around 12th/13th based on my cervical mucus. But I'm so new to this Ive convinced myself I could be wrong. My partner and I do the necessary almost on a daily basis anyway so I'm hoping even I'm out by a couple of days that we're covered. I'm half convinced I'm seeing signs and changes that I wouldn't even know about if I wasn't reading ttc forums, or that it's wishful thinking on my part...

No ever tells you that ttc includes reading into every sign your body gives you and obsessing over it. I was obsessing about my drop in temperature this morning, convinced I'm doomed for this month. Waiting to see if my period comes but not bothering about every wee twinge.

If your dtd that much then I'd say you have a good chance. Wait a few days then test again. Good luck.

If you ovulated on the 12/13th then you're only due on today. I'd give it until Saturday to test as then you're overdue. Good luck!
