Hi,

We have been TTC no. 3 for 18 months. No. 1 took 15 months and no. 2 5 months. I have just had a blood test to check I am ovulating and husband is going to get his sperm tested. What help if any are we entitled to? Should I push for a referral? Could I start taking clomid?

Thanks x

I would have thought you have been trying long enough to warrant a referral? There will prob be a lot of past threads that have a lot of info. I don't have experience of Clomid so can't tell you much about that? Good luck.

The test you've just had will determine if you will be offered clomid or not. If you're not ovulating you'll be offered that if you are then clomid wouldn't help! I think after your test results they will discuss more options. We've been ttc 2 for 13 months and I'm due my 21 day test soon and dr said if I'm not ov I will have clomid, not sure if I am Confused hope this helps!!

OK thanks. That clears up the clomid thing.

I am just keen to get on with things now and just assumed there was not much the medical community would do, but it seems like I can see someone else.

Thanks for replying x
