Age v's Weight?

I already have three DC and would like a fourth (and final). However, I am quite fat with a BMI of around 40 (only 5'2") and I am 37 years old.

Sooo .. Which is riskier / being fat or being 'older' Hmm

I've had a look at the NHS choices website which paints doom and gloom for both scenarios so I can't work out which could be 'worse'?

Dc3 was 10.8lb no gestational diabetes (and I wasn't nearly as big as I am now) and born via elective cs so am probably looking at CS again.

Should I take a couple of years to lose some weight or should I keep time on my side?

I'd be trying whilst loosing weight ... Your wright is such a life changing issue even without pregnancy.
If you want to private message me I'll tell you how I lost 4 stone after my 4th child.

The thing is, I became pregnant first time with my other three DC, so if I was as lucky again I would not have much time.

Can't you say on here re the weightloss?

I would try to lose weight anyway for your health and your life with your dcs? And if you get pregnant just keep eating healthily and you'll probably maintain but in turn be losing weight as not putting on pg weight? Start exercising now so you've started before you get pg and can maintain that physical exertion? Swimming or something? Couch to 5k?
