periods after depo provera

I had one depo injection in May 2013 and didn't return for a second injection. Just curious as to how long it took for periods and fertility to return for others after depo.
I haven't had a period since June and then constant spotting until September, odd days now of brown blood (sorry, tmi)

Hmmm I'm not sure I'm the best person to answer has had an awful time on it...had the injection after having my daughter she's nearly 3...had one more so about 2 years ago and my periods took a year to return to any sort of normality (still slightly irregular) and I have been ttc for a year with no luck and doctor thinks it might be because of depo and is running tests. Hopefully I'm not the norm and all will return to normal for you soon!!!

Mind you this was years ago, but when I was on Depo Provera and came off it, it took about 3 months for my period to return, then several months later I thought "hey ya know I should have had a period by now". Turns out I was already 3-4 months pregnant.
