I was hoping that someone could offer some advice please.
I had my implant removed on 1st November after an awful 20 months or so with it. I had at least 1 AF every month when on implant but they were all over the place and sometimes numerous.
I had my first AF after the implant removal the day after on 2nd Nov, which lasted until the 7th Nov - quite a long one for me. Usually my cycle (prior to implant!) is 28-30 days and very regular, usually for a max of 4 days. I don't know if this was a proper AF as it happened so soon after my implant was removed or whether it was coming any way...? I worked out that based on my usual cycle I should have ovulated on or around the 16th Nov. My OH and I (I don't know what the forum term for it is...but) did the thing you need to do to have a baby (ha!) on 10th, 14th, 17th and 18th. I spotted on 19th and 20th and it was pinkish in colour...could this have been implantation bleeding? Today I feel exhausted, dizzy, very nauseous and urinating quite frequently, which has carried on all of today and doesn't seem to be subsiding. I'm thinking it could possibly just be a bit coincidental - maybe I'm just readjusting after the implant removal and getting a bit of a flu... No one ever tells you how stressful this part is! lol
I've read that in order to get an accurate HPT result I should wait to test until after my next AF is due on 30th Nov. That seems like torture!
Could anyone shine some light on what might be happening please or share a similar experience? I feel like I'm chasing my tail! Is it possible to conceive so soon after having the implant removed? Does your cycle return to 'normal' after implant removal? How long do you wait (realistically!) to take an HPT after suspected implantation bleeding? So many questions - I apologise.
