Cycle gone mad after miscarriage

I've just started my 4th period after a mc, my cycle used to be 28 days on the dot however I've had a 27day, 2 26 day and now a 25 day cycle.

I had massive abdominal pains on Monday and am now being investigated for an ovarian cyst which has included blood tests and swabs and due a scan tomorrow but would that shorten my cycle so much?

I'm in a lot of pain today from af and I've never had so much trouble from my body since I was a teenager!

Hiya

Thought I'd post but you haven't really asked a question so thought I'd say I went through the same with the cycles. Mine got shorter and shorter and 2 day periods. I kept reading about short luteal phases and how it's harder to conceive but 4 months after my miscarriage I got pregnant again. So...I'd say try not to fret too much (easy said than done I know)! Hops the cyst gets sorted.

My luteal phase got shorter by a couple of days after my mc. It has stayed that way (8 months on now).

Sorry to hear of your bad time. My cycles went mad too and my clockwork 28 cycle got shorter - the odd 21 day cycle and lots of 24 and 25 day cycles. They became so heavy and painful I also had to get investigated - all tests and scans came back normal. Acupuncture helped get rid of the painful cycles. But my clockwork cycles never returned and I started getting severe boob pain after ovulation. It was almost like the miscarriage caused a hormone imbalance. Anyway most people's cycles settle down after a bit and I am sure you won't have my problems!
