Since I stopped the pill nearly four weeks ago I would love to see AF as ive only had a withdrawal bleed!

I have a girly weekend next weekend which will involve a swim and steam room so it will probably come at a rubbish time!

We have been ttc since I stopped taking the pill so if AF doesn't come before chrimbo I might POAS just in case haha

It can take a while for your periods to return, it can take 6 months or more. Mine came back after just over three months. This is normal, the body needs a while to start its cycles again, especially if you've been on the pill for long.

Wondering if you still get ovulation signs when your periods are all mucked up. Probably a stupid question though haha

Yes you can. Your body can gear up for ovulation, giving you the signs, such as different cervical mucus, but it might not actually go through with ovulation yet at first. When you ovulate, you have to get a period later (unless pregnant of course!), but you can get a period without having ovulated.

In the same boat as you toots! Nearly to the date lol!

Came off pill period due any day, although I used those ovulation hormone sticks and seemingly ovulated at the weekend so we DTD a little extra just incase!

Been feeling a bit odd though, pains in my stomach, sore back, lightheaded/headaches, sicky feeling and ender nipples(odd!) just a waiting game I guess!!

I hate being a girl haha

Im so impatient. Not for a BFP but more for my cycle to go back to normal
Suppose, the more we want it the less likely it will come haha

Hormones are all over the place and im still hassling DH for sexy time since my sex drive is on par with a teenage boy Blush

Yep disappointed as I was due on today and af no show! I just hope it doesnt take too long for my body to start functioning normally!!

Blamber I read somewhere you can ovulate still without having any period.... im confused?? Lol

Its so hard im so desperate for my body to go back to normal I really hope it doesnt take 6 months or longer. Toots im like you at first I wanted a bfp but now I have no af I want the af more than anything!!!!!

babyspice, when you ovulate you release an egg and the corpus luteum. This corpus luteum produces progesterone, which thickens the lining of your womb. After about 14 days, it dissolves and progesterone is no longer produced. The lining of the womb is shed, which is your period. This has to happen, unless the egg has implanted and then your progesterone levels stay high. That is why you have to get a period after you ovulate, unless you're pregnant.

I conceived dd2 after finishing bfing dd1. I had no period, but obviously ovulated and conceived first time. So well worth poas.
