Testing experiences

Hi, just wondering what tests people prefer to use? Also wondering what results people have found with 10 miu tests and how early they have detected pregnancy? I've got a mixture of 10miu tests and first response, leaving it as long as I can bare before I test! Currently I'm around 10 dpo with AF due around Sunday/Monday.

I like first response, and superdrug own brand tests. But I got a BFP in my first preg with a 10miu cheapo test from
amazon 4 days before AF was due (albeit a very very faint one!)

I used a clear blue one the other day (not a digital one) and thankfully this gave me a BFP!!!! I was apprehensive about using this brand as I'd heard they weren't too sensitive. I was day 33 and my cycles were anything between 28-32 days long (and had the odd longer cycle too - was trying for 14 months so had many cycles!). I was really expecting it to come up negative as I wasn't sure if I was late enough for the CB test to show up, but it came up positive before I'd even finished peeing on the stick!!!

I was primarily using internet cheapies from Amazon and didn't get my BFP until the day my period was due. I then confirmed it with a FRER and CB Digital.

I had used a Clear Blue (non-digital) 3 days before my period was due but it came back as a BFN even though it says on the box they are sensitive enough to be used up to 4 days prior to expected AF.
