Is my fertility back to normal? only one ovary!

I have got my periods back a year after having DD (as still breastfeeding). I had ovary removed while pregnant. Now everything seems to be regular with clear signs of ovulation. Am I to assume that the one ovary is functioning normally and I am ovulating every month, or is it not that simple? Apologies if it's a silly question!

Your one ovary could well be ovulating every month lovecat yes especially if your cycles are regular and you have clear signs of ovulation. If you tried basal body temping you might get a clearer answer since a clear thermal shift each month would indicate ovulation.

Thanks fertilityfairy, so are opks no good? I don't think I'd manage to take temp before I leap out of bed to feed DD before she wakes DS!

Oh yes I didn't mean that OPKs are no good - they work well for lots of people. I'm just a bit of a BBT fan! It is v tricky with a babe though Smile
