If my AF is due next monday, what day this week can I use the early reading tester please?

Friday I think.

FRIDAY? I thought you can detect 6 days ahead of AF! I am confused as to wether this is 6 days inclusive...

I think it's six days from the first day of a missed period, so that would be Wednesday, but tests are still unreliable that early on. Best to wait till the day after you expect AF.

You can test five days early but only about half of pregnant women get a positive that early. Were you testing for ovulation? If so i would say not before 10 days after ov and 12 days is better. If not, id say wait till your period is overdue, or if you are really impatient, the day before it is due. With first response well over 90 percent get the right answer in the two days before period, but early testing can become expensive and also drive you insane.

Tested about an hour ago...negative. What a fool..its way too early isn't it and didn't even use first day's wee.

I still can't do up two pairs of jeans and have gained just over a kg and a half in 2 weeks..I mean, I bloat the week before AF but not like this. Just want to know either way now so I can deal with the symptoms.
