Tattoos and trying to conceive

Right peeps I'm new here - just been scanning as planning to come off my pill next month and starting the long slog of ttc! Was thinking about getting a tattoo in the next couple of weeks - do you think I should not in case this causes any problems??? I know it sounds a stupid question but just kinda wanted some opinions - thanks peeps!!

Why would a tattoo cause problems with conception I don't get it? Make sure you use a certified and clean tattoo place to avoid infections and transmission of diseases, but you'd want to do that anyway.

Hi yeh that was all I was thinking really!! Trying to check if it would be horribly irresponsible or not!!

DP is a tattooist, so I know enough to advise.
It's fine, so long as you aren't on Warfarin/ clexane.
Make sure you check health and safety - ie needles/grips (if disposable) are opened in front of you, and in date.
If it is a good clean place, you have nothing to worry about!
