I know this has prob been asked a million times but!

Two months ago i messed a few pills and had a breakthrough bleed. i carrried on with my pills but then didnt have my 'period' which i always get! i did a test a week later, when i thought preg would def show up if i was. negative! by this time i was on my next pack of pills. ive nearly finished this pack now. Im feeling very tearful and moody today! And quite naseous and a bit light headed but i started a diet this week so it could be hunger!

Could the test have been wrong?? im scared to death now!

You can get false negatives - so yes, it could have been wrong. When you miss pills you should take additional precautions for a week or so afterwards.

Get another test and test again ... fingers crossed for you.

You can get a false negative just not a false postive.

I would go out and get another test and see your GP asap.

Could be wrong - pg tests & the pill are a bit dodgy.
Mind you- I feel really tearful & moody today and I know I'm def not pg. Fingers crossed for you

thank you wigwam
Yes i know we should have!! Very stupid of me! and im normally REALLY good with my pills.
I got preg last year on the pill, as i was taking antibiotics and steroids quite often. Had a missed MC, and i'm not ready for all that again! Also the money situations not good, and we've just bought a house!

Iklboo

Is a pg test more likely to be a false neg when on the pill then??

Taking the pill doesn't make it any more likely to get a false negative.

Go and get another one, at least that way you'll know whether there's anything to be worried about.
