Using progesterone when naturally ttc?

Is anyone doing this or successfully used progesterone pessaries to aid natural ttc? Just hoping to hear some success stories. Also when did you start using them in your cycle? My cycles used to be regular but now vary so much - do I use them from my first high indicator on my CBFM or from the peak? I was told for the 2 week wait but is that from ovulation?

hoop sorry nothing useful to say but I'm hanging around as my friend has just started on them and is desperate for advice also (for very short cycles and uterine lining that may not be shedding properly)!

I just discussed this with my consultant last week. He said there's no evidence that this can improve conception rates but it can't do any harm to try and he was willing to prescribe it for me. He said to take 200mg twice a day from 2 days after ovulation. Do you use fertility friends or similar to chart your cycles so you know when you've ovulated? Hasn't whoever has prescribed it told you when to take it? From reading stories online it does seem like they do prescribe this in the US.

Yes the consultant would rather I had Ivf again, well it is their business. But I had an early miscarriage recently so know I can get pregnant. I am prescribed progesterone as soon as get a bfp and other medications also which I had in my first pregnancy. I only have one month of progesterone as it is not something they are keen on. But I mc due to low progesterone ( and take a very long time to conceive also!) so was keen to ask for it. Was told from ovulation, which is the problem as last 5 months I have ovulated anywhere from day 14 to day 24 ( never had one that late before!) so was unsure when to use; missed this month anyway!

Yes I have 400mg a day also.

Was just wondering whether it worked for anyone and how they used it.

I tried it for a couple of months. It didn't get me anywhere, but I have never conceived naturally (we are unexplained).

Thanks I have only conceived naturally twice in 9 yrs, also. Desperate for something to work though.
