TTC#1 for 18months. Cramping. What could it be?

TTC #1 for a year and a half. On the waiting list for the Assisted Conception Unit. Monthly bloods show I don't always ovulate (but most months I do). Husbands semen analysis shows he has a normal sperm count but that they're on the small side. Currently 9 days post ovulation. Have had mild cramps off and on for the last 5 days. At the moment it's like a prodding on my left side.

Can't get my hopes up that we've finally done it so what else could it be?
