My best friend is going through it atm

She had 6 collected today

She said she has to wait for phone call tomorrow

Please could you tell me how long it is before they are put back in again

Then how long before testing etc.

Thanks

I think it depends on the clinic but I had my embryos put back 2 days later so collected on the Monday and put back on the Wednesday. I then did a pregnancy test 2 weeks later.

I believe some clinics put the embryos back in up to 5 days later

Just to let you know, the reason she is waiting for a phone call is probably to let her know the grades of the embryos and how many have survived the process

Thanks for the info

I didn't want to keep asking

when is this?

when is that?

etc.

I can understand that. It was and will always remain the most stressful time of my life and I was successful after the 1st attempt.

It's the waiting and uncertainty of the whole process. I still get upset now when I think about that time of my life and it was over 4 years ago

You guys have been deffo brill and very helpful

I am going to wait for her to contact me cos she won't want me ringing her if she is wai5ting for the clinic to ring iyswim

My clinic advised me to carry on as usual but there was no way I could do that so I used some holiday and rested for a few days just so if it was unsuccessful I knew I had done everything I could.

Just being there for her is good. At the time I had a couple of people I could speak to and they really helped me through the bad times.

Good idea to text and email and leave in her court to phone so that if she's feeling fragile she can call the shots.

Thanks ye sshe knows she can ring me any time night or day

But atm texting works cos it is not interferring iyswim

The problem is I am off to Australia/south pacific in 2 weeks time for a month

SO we will have to text across the world

Which is a bit of bad timing really

I will still ring her from Aussie on my mobile

Thank you for all your help
