im 3 days late coming on but all tests are negative help!!

hi im usually very regular like clock work with a 28 day cycle (very lucky i know) but i am now 3 days late but all test are negative. My boobs are so tender and sore i ant wear a bra , ive got back ache , period pain on and off (and have done for just over a week now). I keep diary for my cycles and make a note of it when we have sex so i can work out when ive concieved and strangely onn cd20 i had fertile discharge but hadnt had sex or 5 days ( trying for a girl) so i couldnt have mistaken it for sperm . we had sex the same night so im wondering if i caught then and ovulated late that would make me about 10 days after conception so it would be too soon to get a positive ? am i going nuts?? can somebody help lol x

it was cycle day 17 i got fertile discharge not day 20 lol x

I'm a bit like you but 26 days. I think three days over is a bit soon to lose heart. Wait a few days more.

My biology teacher once told me the average woman will have a few MCs disguised as late periods. So if you continue to get negatives that may be what will happen; I'm sorry if so.

I'm late too. Well, kind of. Pre-dd my cycles were always 32/33 days. Since dd they've been 28/29. Today is day 32 but I feel really un-periody and we did DTD just before OV.

Don't want to be disappointed with seeing AF turn up or by getting a negative result on a test.

I've got 2 nights out planned in the next two weeks. God knows what I'll do if I am pg... Cannot get away with not drinking with my friends!!

If I've calculated everything right I should get a positive tomorrow or sunday if not I'm going back on AC which should bring my cycle back quicker absolutley hate being in limbo its a nightmare I'd rather just know one way or an other!I highly doubt I'd be having a miscarriage I've never had one and neither has any one else in my family most people get a positive pregnancy test B4 they miscarry

My own mother never miscarried but I did, so it can happen to anyone. There's nothing hereditary about it.

Probably best waiting a few more days before testing. If you happen to be anxious about the waiting, then it turns into a vicious cycle and can delay AF. I've been through all this, I totally understand!

I know its not always hereditry but generally there's usually family history of it ..I'm trying not to get stressed but it is hard I know what you mean about delaying Af but I do genuinley feel pregnant, my boobs and back are killing me and I'm going to bed at like 8pm lol the problem is though the symptoms are exactly like pms I've already got a son so I've experienced pregnancy before but I've realised very quickly that ttc sends can make you crazy!! He was a suprise so I didn't have any of this waiting around or scheduled sex x

Hi I'm also 3 days late tested with cbd and got bfn so just a waiting game now

Thankgod Louisa23 you can wait with me lol have you had any pregnancy symptoms atall? If I don't get a positive tomorrow I think I'm going to get a clear blue and have it confirmed one way or another

Hi yes I've got really sore breasts and heartburn lets just hope for bfps. I've used a clearblue digital and got a negative. But I'm told tesco home brand pt are better for a early result so going to try one tomorrow. Baby dust to you all x

Oh I might try one of the tesco brand I've just used the cheap ones from savers.. You will have to let me know your result I'm getting more and more convinced everyday that I'm pregnant but I just hope its not all in my head but I've never missed a period or been late before have you? X

No I'm like clockwork every month. Been trying for 2 years after 2 mc so really hoping for a positive test soon x

Really? We've only been trying for 4 months and to be honest I didn't think it would even take this long I just expected to get pregnant straight away :( I swore I wouldn't do ovulation tests or become obsessed but its easily done isn't it I really hope we both get BFP feel more hopeful for you than myself now x

Tested again this morning and its still negative :( x

I kind of know where your coming from with this. And I'm glad I'm not alone. Were ttc and came of the pill a few months ago had 2 normal timed and spaced periods and now I'm 13 days late. I have a horrible stabbing pain in my lower groin and I was worried. So out came test no 2 (1 negative after 2ww) and again it's negative. So now I'm in confusion land. I have no period I have no baby and I'm in (quite a lot) of pain.
Guess it's just my body playing ticks on me.
Hope you get your period or result soon.

Ye I've come off the pill too .. I've got really bad stabbing pain and period pain I've got a really milky discharge too and my boobs are still in agony :/ I hate limboland! X

Cd33 here so 4/5 days late and still not feeling periody. Didn't feel anything (except for a bit thirstier than normal) with DD until 6 weeks when the sickness kicked info not expecting anything really.

Really tempted to test but don't want to be disappointed because then it'll just be annoying waiting for AF to show (and slightly worrying as cycles been regular 28/29 days for past 11 months and could this be the start of longer/irregular cycles???)

You should do a test .. Not sure if I should share this as its a bit personal and too much info lol but I've had pink discharge?? I can't really discribe it any other way but it was on my pad when I went to the toilet still no flow I'm going to test again on tuesday and hope for a bfp ...my back is killing me! And I've still got cramps :/ x

Re the pink, that's usually what happens to me the day before I come on. It's all v annoying as it would be nice to know one way or the other for sure eh.

I'm 4 days late now :/ I've never had pink mucus before I've read up on it and it could be implantation bleeding which. Would make sense I did ovulate late I got fertile cm CD17 and I have 28day cycles .. Fingers crossed that's what it is that would explain no period and negative tests I've never been late before x

I got a Boots cheapie test and did it this afternoon......... BFP!
