Flymo - mama is the expert but it is said to help implantation. I did also read on the internet that you should eat it on an empty stomach otherwise the bromelain is not absorbed by the blood, and instead, being an enzyme, will aid to digest the food in your stomach.
If you google pineapple and fertility or ttc lots comes up about it. I'm going to follow the mama way and cut it into five slices and eat one a day before breakfast, inc core! 1dpo to 5dpo....

Hi guys. Never officially boarded this bus because I was so devastated last month and thought the 2ww might be easier if I wasn't reading posts all the time! Been a lot better, but I've still been reading everything, but having 'days off'. I don't need a bedtime book put if that way.

I'm due Friday. Only managed 3 dtd this month because if the same old performance issues. Poor guy (I say that now. At the time I wasn't so nice unfortunately). Not expecting a Bfp but that's ok. It has to be. I have to keep sane. Had norovirus this week on Dpo11, so def don't expect anything but praying it hasn't messed up my cycle. Started a new thread with this question, but does anyone know if illness can delay a period even if you've ovulated that month?

Well just been for my docs appt. She was really great and answered all my questions. The good thing is that given how things have progressed since I last saw her she thinks its pretty unlikely it was an ectopic. She says that given my 1st blood results followed by subsequent weak positives it is almost certainly an early miscarriage, that I was pg last cycle but its an early loss when I got my 'period' at the end of Oct. Todays bloods should confirm levels have dropped. I also mentioned the spotting I get pre af and asked if the blood test is just for hcg or anything else, and she said shell ask for today's to be tested for other hormones, iron levels and thyroid just to check everything is 'normal'.

Its not great but I'm so relieved she's not worried about ectopic anymore with potential damage, and it looks like a 'normal' early loss. I know that is horrible to write but its the best of the non pg scenarios I think. Of course I still feel sad but not scared and confused anymore.

Will wait til I get today's blood results back til I officially hop off onto the December bus.

The first month I'm back at it and monitoring again, my cycle decides to piss around :(
I always ov cd12/13 (I'm now cd13) and not a hint on the CBFM, I'm still showing an empty circle god damn hormones!
I'm going to test again later with a cheap OPK see what that says although I havn't had any previous issues with CB other than I sometimes jump straight to a solid smiley instead of first having a flashing one.
My body is giving me signals that it's limbering up to ov - so that's a good thing I suppose.
Unusually I've been feeling a bit down over the last few days for no real reason that I can explain so I'm hoping news of my negatitvity hasn't yet reached my ovaries - I've had a word with myself this morning though and kicked my own arse :)

Ive had a chat with my lovely neighbour lol (over cake!!!) and she thinks wait until friday and test with fmu AND digi just to check....then I have docs at 10am so either way I can go knowing!!!! Maybe I was going crazy seeing a line yest as nothing today but I do have slight symptoms and no AF for six weeks tmrw!!!!!!!

Sounds like a good plan lucy. Did you start trying again straight after your mc without af in between then? I asked the doc and she said no prob with starting to try again but recommend to wait for af so they can date it, but does that really matter that much?!

Yes we started ttc a week after (had to confirm BFN to gp). I had conflicting advice from two gp's...one said go ahead as long as feel ready etc...the other wait so its easier to date pregnancy. I think its harder to hold off and wait when you have a loss because you know how excited you were...but thats just me!!!

I've just been to tesco - they had no frers! Do they not sell them? I've come away with a 2 pack of tesco own brand tests and 1 CB digi (wanted a 2 pack but they didn't have any!) Not sure whether to wait till the morning now or test when I get home?

I think we might just crack on like you did to be honest! We never really had the excitement of the bfp as it came 4 days after the end of af it was just stressful really ( ok a teeny bit exiting that it could have been heavy implantation but in reality I knew it was way too heavy). I need to talk to dh tonight but I think I'll wait for today's blood results to come back, and if it confirms mc then start opk-ing again, and if it looks like I'm going to ov then just get back on it (so to speak!)

Yeah good idea with the blood tests imaginary...also they may say wait until you get a neg preg test only because I have heard of people still testing positive weeks later assuming its a new pregnancy and its residual hormones good luck anyway

Elcranko why dont you try one of the own brands later (dont drink anything so urine will be more concentrated) and if it shows something then crack out the digi. If not wait til the morning for digi. That's what I think I'd do but I'm also a secret poas addict too! Good luck!

Imaginary, sorry to hear your news

I had an early mc and we just got on with it....have just pee'd on an ov stick and got barely there line, lighter than yesterday and much lighter than Sunday! I think I must have ov'd on Friday or Saturday which would have been early bit had loads of ewcm then......this is all quite confusing!!

Yes lucy I will wait til I get negative test but its pretty much there now anyway. These blood tests are a week after my positive one so should now show quite low I think.
