M33r I did a second test with the same FMU and the same thing has happened again - bfn at first followed by a faint line about 20min later (photo on profile). I'm not sure what colour the lines are, they're so faint that I can't tell! I'm wondering if it's a dodgy batch of tests but then I tested way too early on Thurs last week and I came back to the test about an hour after doing it, there was definitely no line then, evap or otherwise!

I just don't know what to think!! I guess I need to just wait till tomorrow or thurs and try again?

I definitely feel AF-y though - if these are pg symptoms rather than AF then why isn't a BFP coming up straight away? So confused!!

Science, I'm so sorry. I had a friend in a similar situation to you. She came off depression pills to fall pregnant. It took it's time, but it did happen in the end. Try and find a supportive doctor and maybe look for alternative ways to control how you feel and see what happens from there. Pop in if you ever need us, otherwise best of luck to you

Gin!!! You will be shocked to hear I'm 7dpo and haven't purchased a single hpt!!! This is my new approach!!!

Ladies I am sitting at docs waiting on my cd21 blood test, decided to come today instead of tomorrow as tomorrow is cd22 and I just wanted to do it on cd21 which my doc was fine with when I rang this morning!! I'm looking at the slip to see what they are testing for, it looks like: thyroid, hormone profile, iron, t.f.t?? and ECG d21 level?? Anyone know what this all means?? Can't wait to get this over with hate blood tests!!!! :/

Think I must have had an evap line, done a 2nd IC and an Asda one Nd both were negative, but I've not left them for 2 hours like the first and it wasn't FMU. Not too disappointed as it's still very early days, only 9dpo and I don't feel any different so we'll see what the rest of the week brings and see whether AF arrives on Sunday!

Ok so I've cracked out the big guns and used a FR although not an FRER one, says accurate from day of missed period, and after about 6 mins there's a very feint line on that one too!!!!

Gonna have to get a FRER for the morning!!! Omg my excitement levels have gone thru the roof, someone calm me down!!!!'

Babymama! Whoop whoop! I say sit tight and test again tomorrow. Fingers crossed it continues to get stronger. This is a good sign, I've done tests and never had a feint line show up even hours later when I fished it out the bin just to check

Babymama how exciting!! It HAS to be a BFP! I may follow your lead and buy more tests for in the morning, I only have ICs in the house! I'm thinking of using another IC today but not with FMU to see if the faint line still appears then.

Mama I still have my chin spot but it's calmed down a little. I also have a couple of tiny ones, also on chin! Definitely ask if your blood test would detect pregnancy, I'm sure everyone else asks the same thing! Good luck!

Mama it will do no harm to ask. And anyway at only 7dpo it may not have implanted so may not show. There is no harm in asking I think!

Hey Mama- right TFT/ thyroid function test is the same thing. Iron studies check that you're not anaemic, look at your folate (folic acid) levels, hormone profile will include progesterone, and possibly other hormones like FAH, LH etc. ECG is weird- maybe bad hand writing and is actually hCG?

ladies, can you help? I bought some ICs this month and haven't yet had a +ve, I know I usually ov late in the cycle, am on day 20 and have had ewcm I think but still no +ve on the ICs.... still dtd just in hope that I catch the right day, but really hoping I've ov'd and missed it, rather than going beyond cd 21, that would be baaaad.....

Hey ladies! I didn't ask!!! I don't know why!!! I was a bit traumatised as they took loads of blood filled 3 or 4 bottles :/ but I did ask about the ECG and she said no its not testing for that, the GP has just written beside that but meaning it for the hormone profile!

Get my results Friday, but being as impatient as I am ill ring thurs to see if they are back!
