Do I have ovarian cancer?

Please ladies help me.
I'm terrified, had a misscarriage in April, d&c and then no period for three months, scan showed rpoc, had second d&c and still have had no periods, yet intense period pain, pain at ovulation, trapped win in uterus, bloating and ovarian pain. Have had scan and been put back onto pill for three months to regulate period. Scan showed right ovary bulky and sticking to back of my wall( but not adhered) and left ovary had a 11mm cyst. I have had constant pain in ovaries for two week nearly now, constant tiredness, along with trapped wind down below, and pain when I urinate.

My question is, would the sonographer have been able to distinguish if cyst was cancerous or can this only be done by a biopsy? Either way my gp has said he doesn't see why a cyst of this size would be causing my so much constant pain? I'm so scared, I'm 28 and I know ovarian cancer is rare under 50s but it's not impossible.
Can anyone help with any advice, I'm currently not sleeping with worry and pain. All I want is a brother or sister for my daughter
X

Hi, if there was any suspicion of cancer, surely you would have been called sooner. The fact that you've had lots of scans is good in a way as worrying things can be seen (and biopsies arranged) tumours look like solid mass on scan (not cystic looking generally)
Why don't you call your consiltant's secretary or gp and explain how worried you are and they should be able to put your mind at ease.
Obviously if you are worried about worsening/ non resolving symptoms, you must get checked out by your gp.
Hope you're okay.

Thank you so much for your reply, yes you're right I have had a few scans, but from what you're aware are cysts not the cancerous kind is it only the tumours on the ovaries? Bee to go today and they gave me Mefanemic acid which helps with premenstral cramps and buscopan for trappe wind pain but I'm just worried why I'm having the pain and gp/ gynecologist can't seem to tell me why?!

Could you maybe have a uti? Be constipated? You sound worried so head along to see your gp to at least discuss yours fears. If an ovary is 'sticking ' to something this could certainly be a cause of pain. Could it be endometriosis or adhesions?
Hope you get done answers and your pain settles down.

Have you not as yet been referred to a gynaecologist for further evaluation?.

My guess is that the D & Cs have caused all this to arise, presumably you did not have such pain before these procedures. I would also think endometriosis and or adhesions (you state the ovary is bulky and sticking to the back of the uterine wall) are the root causes of the problems here. Any type of abdominal surgery can often lead to adhesions forming; these are like sticky strands that tether organs together. These can also be painful.

I would seek a second opinion from another gynae if you are getting nowhere with this current person.

If they are cysts, it doesn't necessarily mean at all that you have cancer. My mum had an ovary removed when she was 21 due to benign cysts (which, by the way, caused a lot of pain and made her feel crap for ages). She went on to have two children and had her other ovary and womb removed for the same reason about 15 years ago. Good luck to you.

Hi, I had the blood test done for polycystic ovaries and ca125(ovarian cancer) back yesterday and they both fine, ca125 is 6 and is normally over 25 if ovarian cancer, although elevated levels only show up in 75% of women with the cancer, I just have to hope it am in the 75%.
I still have all the pain symptoms, gp has sent a letter to push my apt with gynae through sooner for a laparoscopy to see what is cussing pain. I am still terrified it is cancer as my symptoms match it so much.
Anyone else had this ca125 test? Also gp said there are actually 10 cysts at 11mm each on right ovary, could this cause the pain? I alo literally cannot stop weeing
