I posted a few days ago as I wasn't sure if bfp I'd got were real. I had a weird af on the day my af was due (Sunday just gone) just lasted for a day and very light compared to normal af. I've got a little pinky discharge and lots of poss pg symptoms. Went to the Dr on Monday as wasn't sure if I'd had and early mc. She said to wait til next weds and then test again and if it was positive she'd make an appt at the EPAU for the following week. I couldn't wait to POAS so I bought a test while out today and got a 'not pregnant'. I'm now confused! Maybe I've had a chemical pregnancy but wouldn't there still be some pregnacy hormone left? Anyone had a similar experience? It's driving me mad.

So did you test and get a BFP at first?

Troubleintmill · 06/11/2013 17:47

I got 2 bfps with normal tests (non digi) before af was due. I showed the Dr and she confirmed they were positive.

Digital tests are not as sensitive as the standard tests and often do not show positives until women are well off in to their pregnancy. I would not stress too much about it.

Thanks for the reassurance mawinter.
I assumed the digi ones were better for some reason!
Wish I'd bought normal ones now. Will have to purchase another and sit tight til next week like I was supposed to!
