Using OPKs - did anyone conceive a girl this way?

I know I will anger some people but there's no harm in hoping for a girl,is there? Have just read that a girl is more likely after sex a few days prior to Ovulation whereas a boy is more likely right at ovulation. can anybody share their experiences on OpKs or just generally? Does the OPK (never used one before) give you a few days notice of Ovulation or just tell you on the day?

I had a girl using opks..wasnt intentional for either sex but she was concieved just after ov I think as used clearblue digi ovs the ones with smiley face and concieved her on or after day of smiley face.

mmmm. well I think that answers my question. boys are lovely. I have two absolutely gorgeous boys. just trying to make this decision now ... its very hard. whether to go for third..
